Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

Rya’Nae is a creative and outgoing youth. In her spare time she enjoys shopping at the mall and hanging with her friends. She takes pride in her appearance and enjoys getting her nails done and fashionably styling her hair.
Rya’Nae has a special talent and ability to style hair and enjoys sharing this with others. She aspires to be an entrepreneur and own her own beauty salon where she has the ability to show her diverse talents and make people feel good about themselves.
Rya’Nae is very driven and would benefit from having daily structure. Rya’Nae longs to be a part of a loving family who will be there to support her and motivate her along her life journey. A two parent or single parent household would be appropriate, male or female.
