“My name is Savannah, and I am 7 years old. I am in school once a week in the first grade and have an individual education plan. My individual education plan is working on my developmental needs. I have varied interests, including Disney movies and music. My favorite Disney movie is Trolls! When I listen to music, I can’t help but dance and laugh. My love language is physical contact as I cannot speak with words, but I have a smile that will brighten your day. I communicate with eye contact as well. I spent most of my life surrounded by my large family, therefore, socializing with other children makes me the happiest. I enjoy interacting with animals. It’s fun to pet them and watch them run around.

One of my favorite past times is reading books with those around me! Story books let my imagination run wild! I live in a long-term residential facility for children with a revolving door of friends who visit my room.

My mother visits from time to time and will read me books. When I see my siblings, we always have a good time playing together! My family is important to me, and I would like to remain in contact with them. I have medical challenges but am currently stable with around the clock care at my facility. I am looking for a family who will spend time with me, love on me, and help me gain the skills I need.”
