Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

Aaliyah is a very intelligent, energetic young lady. Aaliyah loves to dance and listen to music; hip hop music is her favorite. Aaliyah is a part of the gymnastic team, and she enjoys spending time with other children who have an interest in dancing and gymnastics. She loves Harry Potter; he is her favorite movie character. She has all the Harry Potter books and movies.
Aaliyah is closely bonded with her younger brother and wants to remain in contact with him. Aaliyah Is very much into fashion, she loves to shop, play dress up, do hair, and paint her nails. Aaliyah is very affectionate and appreciates small things that are done for her.
