Multisystemic Therapy (MST)
With Multisystemic Therapy an expert will support and advocate for your family, helping you navigate various systems and organizations, including DCFS, your child’s school, juvenile court, faith communities, and more. They also offer family therapy and child behavioral interventions.
The service is community and home based, with weekly sessions lasting 3-4 months. The caregiver is the primary recipient of service.

You may be eligible if:
- The child is at risk of disrupting from the home due to chronic, severe, delinquent, violent, or antisocial behaviors.
- The family is in the process of reunification from a residential facility or foster care.
You are not eligible if:
- You have an open case with other intensive services.
- The child is in foster care.
- The child has pervasive developmental disabilities, severe mental health issues, or is actively suicidal or homicidal.
