Ways to apply:
- Apply online through the Ohio Benefits website.
- Call the contact center at 844-640-6446, Monday-Friday 8am to 4pm.
- Visit your local Neighborhood Family Service Center.
- Visit your local library, where trained professionals can help you apply.
Adults 65 and older qualify for Medicare. Learn more about the Medicare program and how to apply.
Anyone not eligible for Medicare or Medicaid can purchase health insurance through the Affordable Care Act.

Medicaid continuous coverage rules expire March 31! Cuyahoga
Job and Family Services is completing the renewal process for Medicaid
benefits. As part of the renewal process, CJFS will determine if individuals
currently enrolled in Medicaid still meet federal income and other eligibility
standards. Those deemed ineligible may be discontinued from coverage.
