Family Resiliency Program

The Passages Family Resiliency Program provides programming and services to fathers to address their needs in the following areas:

  • A 4-week program-either virtual or on demand- where fathers learn how to build healthier relationships and communication with their children and the other significant people in their lives.
  • Career exploration and coaching to promote obtaining employment that can lead to economic stability.
  • Comprehensive case management services to address any barriers an individual may be experiencing.
  • Access to certain legal services that aid participants in learning how to file court documents related to parenting time or custody.
  • Help with navigating child support.
  • Driver’s license reinstatement navigation.
  • Expungement of criminal records navigation.

Programs

University Settlement Fatherhood Initiative Program

The Fatherhood program engages fathers in school-based programming at three K-8 CMSD schools: Warners Girls Leadership Academy, Mound Stem Elementary, and Albert Bushnell Hart School. The program engages fathers by offering them ways to become better fathers to their children and better role models.

The Career Pathway Program for Fathers

Towards Employment’s Career Pathway Program provides comprehensive job preparation training and employment components with a Fathers Group.

Rising Above Program

This is a Workforce Development/Training program at Career Development and Placement Strategies aimed at non-custodial fathers.
