Services for Female Youth: Next Step is currently providing shelter care and supervised, cluster site, independent living for females in the former Westhaven building located at 3020 W. 104th, Cleveland, Ohio. The upstairs of the building has been newly remodeled to provide safe, comfortable housing for young women.

Services: Provides temporary housing for homeless older persons and documented disabled persons meeting age eligibility. Those needing to leave their homes due to mortgage foreclosure, eviction, fire, structural damage, loss of utilities, or other unsafe housing conditions are also served. Housing will accommodate 8 residents.

Long-term program includes local church involvement, case management based on results, on-site work activities, job readiness, and continuing education. Capacity is 157 beds, but due to rooms for families, rooms often reach capacity before beds. Shelter letters may be requested by outside agencies only, not by clients.

Services: Operates as a central point of intake for services for veterans who are homeless or who are housing insecure. Offers case management, vocational rehabilitation counseling, supportive employment, and linkage to medical services. Clients will be linked to all appropriate VA services as well as the services of other community agencies that partner with this program. Laundry and shower facilities are available for client use.

Services: Offers a range of services for battered women and children. Services include shelter, advocacy, counseling, youth advocacy, support groups, employment and housing assistance and court escorts for domestic violence related situations. Provides comprehensive youth services. Children may need to change school placements. Assistance with accessing transitional housing programs and finding other alternative housing. Shelter capacity is 41 beds. Shelter letters provided for current and former clients.
