Client & Family Rights

- Know the nature of any report concerning your child.
- Know how the assessment will be conducted and how long it will take.
- Know the suspected harm or risk to your child.
- Know what the assessment found and what will happen next.
- Receive communication assistance if you have special needs.
- Request information in your native language and request an interpreter.
- Refuse services at any time.
Children also have rights, including the right to be nurtured and live safely in their homes. Children who are subject to a court order related to child protection have additional rights.
