Adoptable Kids

Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.

  • Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
  • Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
  • Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

Tiyler

Tiyler is an 11 year old African-American male with an athletic build and of normal height and weight compared to other peers his age. Tiyler has short black hair with brown eyes. Tiyler is a polite and well-mannered young man who articulates himself well given his age. Tiyler is very energetic and loves to play sports. Tiyler is very intelligent and loves to read, while always striving to learn new things and expand his knowledge. Tiyler is passionate about cars and collects matchbox racing cars. Tiyler is likes art and often spends time drawing in his sketchpad.

Tiyler is a likeable outgoing child who tends to have an easy time making friends. Tiyler loves to play on the community/school sports teams. Tiyler does well in the community and loves to engage in a multitude of activities. Tiyler is very smart and usually earns above average grades. Tiyler is in the 6th and currently and attends a regular public school.

Tiyler is sweet and kind and could really thrive in a one or two-parent household that has a supportive space to nurture his emotions. Having a male role model or big brother would be a great benefit. What are you waiting for? Make Tiyler a part of your forever family!
