Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.
Please take a look at our wonderful Adoptable Kids.
- If you are a licensed Foster Caregiver or approved Adoptive Family requesting information about a specific child submit an inquiry and we’ll follow up with you.
- If you are not a licensed Foster Caregiver or approved Adoptive Family please submit this interest form and we’ll get back to you.

Taylor
December 2016
My name is Taylor, and I am getting ready to start kindergarten. I am just learning to read and write; I love pretending to read books while looking at the colorful pictures. I enjoy playing in my tablet, I really like watching videos and playing games. I love all things Frozen. Frozen is my favorite movie and I love for everything to have Frozen on it.
I love for things to sparkle and glitter. I often dream that I am a princess and that I only wear dresses, and everything is sparkling just like in the Frozen Movie. My future goal changes every week from a doctor to dancer. I love being outside bike riding, playing with my dolls or playing in the park.
I am looking for a forever home that is full of love and that can help me have a promising future.
