Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

Nevaeh is a bubbly girl with a warm heart. She likes to play games on her tablet and loves to go out to eat. Her favorite restaurant is McDonald’s. Nevaeh describes herself as funny with a positive attitude.
Nevaeh enjoys learning about fashion and likes listening to music. She is very outgoing and is open to trying new things.
Family and friends are important to her. She likes to make new friends and is always up for a friendly chat. Nevaeh is looking forward to being adopted by a family that will love her unconditionally.
