Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

Monica is a bubbly young lady who enjoys expressing herself creatively. When she isn’t busy painting, she can be found running long distances in preparation for her next cross country meet. She likes to dance, sing, and make silly videos with her friends. When she wants to unwind, she will binge a Netflix series like no one else!
She is helpful around the house and has mastered the art of folding laundry. She likes to create baking masterpieces to share with the family when they have their family board game night. She really enjoys their family vacations and wants to continue experiencing new adventures.
Monica will continue to thrive with a family who is supportive of her creativity, open to contact with her siblings, and ready to help her continue her journey to adulthood.
