Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.
Please take a look at our wonderful Adoptable Kids.
- If you are a licensed Foster Caregiver or approved Adoptive Family requesting information about a specific child submit an inquiry and we’ll follow up with you.
- If you are not a licensed Foster Caregiver or approved Adoptive Family please submit this interest form and we’ll get back to you.

Magnolia
April 2010“My name is Magnolia and I love to cook. I am just starting out in the kitchen but have made some amazing meals and look forward to the day I can complete an entire meal all on my own. I am not sure what I want to be when I grow up, but I am taking different electives in school like, Home Ec., and looking forward to my Government Class Trip to Washington DC.
“I enjoy playing basketball with my friends or on the school team, when I am not playing basketball, you will find me trying out the latest hair fashions.
“I have a relationship with my brother and sisters and would like to remain in contact with them and even visit them. I am looking for a forever family to love who will help me explore my career options and set me on the path to success.
