Adoptable Kids

Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.

  • Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
  • Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
  • Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

Please take a look at our wonderful Adoptable Kids.

  • If you are a licensed Foster Caregiver or approved Adoptive Family requesting information about a specific child submit an inquiry and we’ll follow up with you.
  • If you are not a licensed Foster Caregiver or approved Adoptive Family please submit this interest form and we’ll get back to you.

Luis and Callie

April 2017 and December 2018
brother and sister smiling with his arm around her

Luis and Callie are active and fun-loving children with loads of charisma and hearts full of hope. Their sibling bond is strong, and they consider each other teammates. They look forward to being with each other and having a family who will support their dreams and passions.

Callie is passionate about sports, especially volleyball, and is very outgoing and sociable. Luis, on the other hand, enjoys listening to music and playing games. Luis is more reserved and takes a bit more time to trust new people. He prefers to spend time at home connecting with family members. Luis brings humor to their family dinners with his jokes. In contrast, Callie is naturally social and enjoys interacting with others.

These siblings are uniquely talented and are looking forward to sharing their love with their forever family.
