Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

Kimora
November 2007Kimora is a zestful and adventurous 15-year-old teenager. She appears to be very direct in her conversations. Kimora makes friends very easily but can be slow to warm to adults at times. She likes to be the center of attention. Kimora is in the 10th grade and can do well with her academics when she applies herself. Kimora enjoys playing basketball, making videos, and hanging out with her peers. Kimora is obsessed with cell phones or any electronic device. Kimora has a desire to attend college upon graduating from high school.
This upbeat teenager is in need of an adoptive home where she can make positive strides. Kimora enjoys giving affection to those she is closely bonded to. She is an extremely loving and charming teenager. She needs a family who will give her unconditional love and commitment.
