Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

Johniece

Johniece is very sweet; she enjoys singing and is actively involved in the choir at her school. In addition, Johniece enjoys listening to music and learning the latest dances. Johniece enjoys singing and currently attends a performing arts High School with a focus in vocal performance. Johniece is very shy but once she is comfortable, she does really well with forming peer relationships. Johneice is very helpful and well-behaved.
Johniece enjoys learning and attending school. Johniece is a model student; she often earns honor roll as well as citizenship awards. Johniece needs a special family who is willing to meet her needs consistently and provide a lifetime commitment of love and stability.
