Adoptable Kids

Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.

  • Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
  • Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
  • Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

JaQuayla

Ja’Quayla is a fun, outgoing, and compassionate teen who loves to laugh. Ja”Quayla is an energetic social butterfly and enjoys making friends, which is something she does easily. Like most teenagers, she enjoys being active outdoors when the weather permits, watching movies, hanging out with friends, and listening to music. She has a fun and often, bold demeanor. She enjoys working and saving money to go shopping!

Ja’Quayla is a smart girl who does well in school with added support. She enjoys being involved with school activities such as JROTC. Ja’Quayla is a very independent teen. She can be quite reserved at times, but she enjoys people once they gain her trust.

Ja’Quayla advocates for herself and knows how to set and accomplish goals. She is a very loving and caring teenager. She is determined and brave. Ja’Quayla will be a great addition to a loving and caring forever family.
