Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.
Please take a look at our wonderful Adoptable Kids.
- If you are a licensed Foster Caregiver or approved Adoptive Family requesting information about a specific child submit an inquiry and we’ll follow up with you.
- If you are not a licensed Foster Caregiver or approved Adoptive Family please submit this interest form and we’ll get back to you.

Hailey
September 2009Hello, I’m Hailey. I can be shy at first, but I warm up to people quickly and like to talk about what is going on in my life. I get along with kids of all ages but most of my friends are my age or older. I like to watch movies and binge watch shows on streaming platforms, especially ones with vampires. Creating masterpieces with my Diamond Art craft supplies is another favorite pastime. For my birthday, I will always ask for my favorite, perfume!
I love social media and basketball but will always make time to rehearse my lines for my performances in my school’s theatre program; my last role was in our production of Annie. I also enjoy my time as a member of my school’s Spanish club. My goal in life is to become a nurse.
My current foster mother will tell you that I am very helpful around the house, usually the first one to ask if she needs help. I would really like a family that will allow me to keep in contact with my siblings, support my passions, and help me reach all my goals in life.
If you are that family, please contact:
