Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

Egypt and Ezra
August 2014 and June 2016
Egypt is a is lovable, sweet, and caring young lady. Egypt is very conscious of her appearance, she likes to dress up, and loves for her hair to look pretty. Egypt likes to ride her bike, pretty things, dancing and playing with her dolls. Egypt has a million-dollar smile with deep dimples that can light up a room, she is independent and can play alone or with others.
Ezra is quiet, and he can be introverted until he gets to know you, but don’t be fooled into thinking he is sad, Ezra has been smiling more than ever these days. Ezra can be a gentleman and is known to escort his social worker to her car and even open the door! Ezra is acrobatic and likes to do tricks on the trampoline. Ezra likes to play video games on the computer, and he likes sparkly things.
