Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

March 2011Devin is a laid-back, easy-going young man. Hard to catch him upset but easy to make him smile. Devin is caring, loving and helpful. He loves to read and draw. Devin has a strong bond with his sister. They like to make jokes laugh and chat with each other. He needs a family who will support their connection along with his dreams and passions. Devin likes helping people so much he aspires to be a police officer when he grows up. Devin is looking forward to sharing his love with his forever family.
Devin needs a loving adoptive family who will provide him with attention, support, structure, and a nurturing environment to continue to thrive. He will be a great addition to any family!
