Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

Dae’Vion

Dae’vion is smart, compassionate, and loves family and friends. He enjoys playing with Legos, watching TV and playing football. Dae’vion does well in school and is respectful. He has a strong bond with his siblings and aunts and would need a family to support their ongoing relationship.
Dae’vion desires a family who is patient, supportive and has familiarity with youth have experienced trauma. He also desires a family with similar interest as his to build a bond and form a healthy long-lasting relationship.
