  • Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
  • Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
  • Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

Please take a look at our wonderful Adoptable Kids.

  • If you are a licensed Foster Caregiver or approved Adoptive Family requesting information about a specific child submit an inquiry and we’ll follow up with you.
  • If you are not a licensed Foster Caregiver or approved Adoptive Family please submit this interest form and we’ll get back to you.

Clinton AKA Micah

January 2012
young man holding a toy and smiling

Clinton is a 10 year old who likes to go by the name Micah. Micah is a very energetic boy who loves to ride on his bike or play flag football when he is not busy with school. Micah is very charismatic and will keep you in conversation as long as you let him. He will surely keep you on your toes with his quick wit and charm. Micah loves going to school because he can be with his friends. When they are not doing division problems’ math is Micah’s favorite subject. Micah says he wants to be a fire fighter when he grows up.

Micah has strong family and social supports which he would like to maintain once his forever home is found.

Micah has overcome many obstacles in his life, and the special family for Micah must be willing to learn how to meet his needs and be willing to accept a lifetime commitment. If you are that family, please don’t miss out on another minute without this wonderful boy! Micah is the kind of child that will enrich your life forever.
