Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

Charles and Kennedy

This brother and sister duo would make a great addition to any family!
Charles is a very smart and inquisitive young man who likes to take his time to get things done. If asked he would say his favorite subject is lunch, but he is a true problem solver which has generated his love for gaming, one of his favorite things to do. Kennedy is a social butterfly who enjoys playing outside and riding on her hoverboard. She can be very engaging as she enjoys talking to people and she is also known to be the class clown.
Charles and Kennedy are both family oriented and have a bond with their other siblings. They will need a family who is willing to allow them to maintain contact and be supportive of their sibling relationships. They would also benefit from a family who is patient, nurturing, loving, and committed to them. They need a forever family that can provide them with unconditional love and attention on a lifelong basis. Could this be you?
