Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.
Please take a look at our wonderful Adoptable Kids.
- If you are a licensed Foster Caregiver or approved Adoptive Family requesting information about a specific child submit an inquiry and we’ll follow up with you.
- If you are not a licensed Foster Caregiver or approved Adoptive Family please submit this interest form and we’ll get back to you.

Armani and Gavin
June 2008 and October 2010I’m Armani and as the oldest brother, I am of course, better at our favorite video game than my little brother. I do pretty good at school and my favorite subject is science. I love to spend time outdoors no matter what the weather and really enjoy camping. My favorite sport is football, and my favorite food is pizza. I like Marvel movies and really love Spider-Man.
I’m Gavin and I might not be as good at our favorite video game as my big brother, but I am way better at sports than Armani. I am also pretty good at school, and like my brother, my favorite subject is also science. I enjoy my time being active outdoors and love camping. I also like football and pizza and my favorite superhero is Iron Man.
We are very outgoing young men. We love playing with our friends. Our favorite things are going swimming, playing football and basketball, and most importantly, doing things together. We enjoy spending time together but when we have had enough of each other, we just go to our rooms to enjoy some quiet time. We also attend church weekly, and our faith is very important to us.
Our goal is to stay together and be adopted by the same family. We really want to be part of a permanent family that will always be there to love, support, and guide us.
