Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

Aaliyah

Aaliyah is a 15-year-old young lady who is currently a sophomore in high school where she receives above average grades. Aaliyah is a nice young lady who likes to be helpful to others. Aaliyah enjoys listening to music, spending time with the dogs in her home and watching teen shows. Aaliyah is a pleasant child who continues to focus on being the best version of herself. Aaliyah is active in her church and enjoys singing in the youth choir. Aaliyah will do well in a permanent, loving family who can give her unconditional love and support on a lifelong basis.
