Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

Micalelynn “Bless”
Micalelynn is known by all as Bless. She is a very energetic cheerful girl that enjoys spending time with her family. She has a big smile that brightens up the room. Bless enjoys playing on her iPhone and enjoys exercising with her friends.
Bless likes to please others and will volunteer to help when needed. She is a big hugger and is an affectionate little girl. Bless enjoys sweats and her favorite candy is dark chocolate. Bless enjoys fashion and styling her hair.
Bless needs a family that will allow her to remain in contact with her birth family and current school friends. Bless also needs a family that will help her achieve her true potential.
