Adoptable Kids
Adopting a child can be a rewarding and lifechanging experience. The Division of Children and Family Services is looking for families or single adults from all backgrounds who want to give a safe, loving, permanent home to children who need a family.
- Most children waiting for adoption are African American and Caucasian children ages 10 and older.
- Many are sibling groups who need to stay together, teenagers, or children who have special needs (including physical, emotional or mental disabilities).
- Adoptive families can include relatives, single parents, and same sex couples.

Meir

Meir is a very loving and caring young man who loves to give hugs. He can be slow to warm up, but once he gets to know you the conversation is endless. Meir is a jokester who likes to laugh. He is also a very active youth who enjoys running and playing outside with friends. When not outside you can catch him building things with Legos which is one of his favorite things to do. Meir also enjoys a good game of Uno, Checkers, or Backgammon.
Meir’s faith is important to him, and he desires to be adopted by a family who shares the same faith and values as him. He has also expressed that he would like to have a mom. Meir needs a family who is patient, nurturing, and able to provide him with unconditional love and support on a lifelong basis. Do you have room in your heart and home for this loveable young man?
